We are heartbroken to announce that as of July 31, 2024, The Martese Cruises are shut down for the remainder of the 2024 season.
The Clear Lake Marina cannot provide Martese Cruises or watercraft rentals due to Riding Mountain National Parks’ 2024 watercraft restrictions in an effort to mitigate and potentially eradicate zebra mussels from Clear Lake.
Why are there no rentals or cruises?
The watercraft restrictions put in place by Parks Canada are a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of and potentially eradicate a zebra mussel population in Clear Lake. We encourage you to visit Riding Mountain National Park’s website to learn more about the situation:

Clear Lake Marina’s thoughts on the situation:
We take pride in our role as stewards of the pristine waters of Clear Lake and the natural beauty of Riding Mountain National Park. Our operations are rooted in a deep appreciation of this magnificent lake, which is integral to the sustainability of our community and the enjoyment of all who visit.
The lake is more than a scenic backdrop; it is the essence of our home and livelihood. With a vision for the future, we pledge to preserve its integrity and spirit for the generations to come. We stand with those who share this dedication to maintaining the lake’s ecological balance and beauty.
Although 2024 has been a year of sadness and difficult decisions, we are keeping our eyes on the light at the end of the tunnel. Clear Lake’s 2024 watercraft restrictions are temporary, and we look forward to the day that we can share this wonderful lake with you once again.
See you soon,
The Clear Lake Marina Team
